PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy explains how Oz Sparkle Car Wash collects, uses, stores and reviews personal information submitted through the wash contact desk, package requests and fleet enquiries. Oz Sparkle Car Wash is an Australian car wash on Meta St, Croydon NSW 2132, Australia. Drive in dirty, drive out sparkling. We offer express exterior, interior detail, full sparkle, fleet care, and ceramic or wax finishes for everyday drivers and local businesses. We treat personal information as an operations tool, not as a marketing list. This document is for visitors, fleet coordinators and customers who want a clear account of what happens after a form is sent to [email protected] or a call is made to +61297045666. Read it with the Cookie Policy for browser storage and the Terms of Use for booking rules.
Who holds the information
Oz Sparkle Car Wash is the operator responsible for personal information collected through this site and at the Meta St desk in Croydon. Access is limited to authorised desk staff and the wash team who need the details to place a vehicle in a safe bay. Lachlan Reid reviews placement notes and damage claims. Mei Tan reviews cabin requests, child-seat notes and pet-hair warnings. Declan Walsh sees express-bay timing notes. Amira Haddad reviews ceramic and wax reservations. Fleet names, invoice emails and vehicle lists are handled by Connor Blake. Care-guide feedback that includes a customer name is seen by Sienna Park only when a published bay note must be corrected. We do not sell customer lists, registration numbers or email addresses. A driver in the queue is not given your booking file.
Information collected
| Data type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Name and email | Used to review and respond to a bay, package or policy request. |
| Optional phone number | Used only when supplied as a preferred reply route or for same-day bay placement. |
| Request details | Used to understand the relevant package, vehicle note, damage remark or policy question. |
| Technical form fields | Used for submission handling and basic spam reduction. |
How we use the information
The primary use is to answer the request you sent. That may include confirming an express exterior slot, explaining what full sparkle includes, or placing you with Mei Tan for interior detail or Amira Haddad for ceramic or wax. A secondary use is yard safety. If you mention a cracked bumper, a leaking sunroof, an alarm that sounds when a door opens, or a fleet van that sits higher than a sedan, the operator needs that note before the hose starts. We do not use contact-form details to build advertising profiles, and we do not pass those details to unrelated third parties for their own campaigns. If you become a regular or fleet customer, the desk may add the same name and email to a simple visit record so the team knows which package you usually book. You can ask us to limit contact to the original request. We will still keep any note required for a current safety, invoice or legal obligation.
Storage and access
Submitted messages are stored to review and respond to wash requests. Access is restricted to authorised operators. Closed enquiries are ordinarily kept no longer than twenty-four months. A fleet file may be kept for the life of the account plus a reasonable period after the last invoice. Paper notes sit in a locked drawer, not on the public counter. Technical form fields used for spam reduction are reviewed only when a submission looks automated. They are not used to score your vehicle.
Sharing
We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the wash. That includes a bay operator who must know a vehicle has a wrap before high pressure starts, a desk operator confirming pickup, or a professional adviser if we must respond to a legal claim. We may also disclose information if Australian law requires it. We do not publish customer number plates or private cabin photos on the public site. Adult customers who appear in yard photographs are asked first. Insurers or a repairer may receive a damage note when you ask us to support a claim. Payment processors see only what is needed to take a card or transfer.
Browser storage
This site uses essential browser storage to remember whether the cookie notice has been accepted. The Cookie Policy describes that storage, including the technical key used by the site script. Hidden form fields help reduce automated spam and are not used to profile your preferred package. Accepting the notice is not consent to join a marketing list. Clearing the stored flag does not delete a message already received at the Croydon desk.
Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about a request you sent, ask us to correct a name or email, or ask us to delete a closed enquiry where we no longer need it. A fleet coordinator may make the same request for vehicles on that account if they are authorised to speak for the business. We may refuse deletion where the record is still required for a safety review, unpaid invoice, damage claim or legal obligation. Those limits will be explained in plain language. Australian privacy principles apply. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner after starting with the desk.
