COOKIE POLICY
This page describes the essential browser storage used by the Oz Sparkle Car Wash website. Oz Sparkle Car Wash is an Australian car wash on Meta St, Croydon NSW 2132, Australia. Drive in dirty, drive out sparkling. We offer express exterior, interior detail, full sparkle, fleet care, and ceramic or wax finishes for everyday drivers and local businesses. The site is a planning and contact tool for that yard. It is not an advertising network and it does not drop third-party tracking pixels. This policy explains what is stored on your device, why it is stored, and how you can clear it. Questions can be sent to [email protected] or raised by telephone on +61297045666. Read this page with the Privacy Policy, which covers messages you type, and the Terms of Use, which cover bookings.
What this site stores
When you first open a page, a short notice appears at the edge of the screen. If you choose Accept, the site writes a small value in local storage so the same notice does not reopen on every later page during the same browser profile. That is the only persistent browser storage the public site creates for ordinary browsing. We do not use that value to guess your package interest or whether you want express exterior, interior detail, full sparkle, fleet, ceramic or wax. We do not combine it with the contact form to build a marketing file. The flag does not record which care guide you read or whether you later booked with Lachlan Reid. Local storage is kept on your device by the browser. Clearing it does not cancel a wash you already booked and does not delete a message already received by the Croydon desk. The stored value travels with that browser profile, not with your number plate.

Remembers that the notice has been accepted so it does not reopen on every page. |
Why the key name looks technical
The storage key is a technical label used by the site script. It does not mean Oz Sparkle Car Wash is a technology review desk, and it is not a tech-review brand. The key is kept so the notice behaviour remains stable for returning visitors. Changing the key would force every visitor to see the notice again even after they had already accepted it. The value stored against the key is a simple accepted flag. It does not include your name, email, phone number, or the package you asked about. For that reason the exact string vtTechnologyReview_cookiePreference_v2 remains the storage name even though the public brand is a car wash in Croydon NSW. Accepting the notice is enough for ordinary use of wash bays, care guides and bay notes. If you inspect storage and see that string, treat it as a label from the site script, not as a review publication or a separate company.
Contact form fields
The contact form also uses hidden technical fields for submission handling and basic spam reduction. Those fields are sent with the request and are not stored in the browser as cookies. They help the wash ignore automated messages that would delay real package requests from people who want to book with Lachlan Reid, Mei Tan, Declan Walsh, Amira Haddad, Connor Blake or Sienna Park. A genuine visitor does not need to complete those hidden fields. Form fields that you type are handled under the Privacy Policy as a wash request. They are not written into the cookie preference key. Phone bookings do not write vtTechnologyReview_cookiePreference_v2 on your handset.
What we do not use
The public site does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics cookies that follow you onto other websites. We do not embed third-party video players that set their own cookies on these pages. We do not run remarketing tags for ceramic brands, wax suppliers or fleet software. If that model ever changes, this policy will be rewritten before any new storage is introduced. Until then, treat the site as an information and request desk for the Meta St wash only.
Browser controls
You can clear browser storage using your browser settings. The notice may reappear after storage is cleared. Clearing storage does not delete a message you already sent through the contact form. That message is handled under the Privacy Policy as a wash request. You can also use a private browsing window if you do not want the accepted flag to persist after you close the window. Doing so will not change the package or timing notes published for Meta St, Croydon NSW 2132, Australia. If the notice never appears, the page can still be read.
Children and family vehicles
Wash enquiries for a family car should be submitted by an adult who can authorise the work. The cookie notice and the essential storage key work the same way for every visitor. They do not identify a child and they do not store a booster-seat age. Any family detail belongs in the message field of the contact form. The accepted flag is not consent for a photograph of a child in the waiting area, and it is not a booking. Yard rules for children are set in the Terms of Use, not by this banner.
Questions
Cookie and storage questions should be sent as a policy question through the wash contact desk, by email to [email protected], or by telephone on +61297045666. The visit address is Meta St, Croydon NSW 2132, Australia. Include the browser you used and a short description of what you saw so the desk can tell whether the notice, the stored flag, or a form issue needs review. If you believe the notice is blocking a genuine package request, say so and a staff member will still take the booking by phone. Name the key vtTechnologyReview_cookiePreference_v2 in your message if you have already inspected storage, so we know you are asking about the script label and not about a third-party review site.
